Carrot

Carrot

The carrot is a root vegetable, typically orange or white, or a mixture of white and red color, with a fresh crunchy texture. Usually grows in temperate regions of Europe, North Africa and West Asia.

The carrot is a poor man's ginseng, as there are more than 490 phytochemicals (plant chemicals or fruit.) Beta-carotene is one of the antioxidants in the carrot, and helps attack the immune system and destroy cancer cells in the body. It also prevents DNA variations and fat oxidation and protects the cells against free radicals. There is some evidence that beta-carotene in combination with selenium, vitamin C and vitamin E can (2) to reduce high-density lipoprotein HDL2 cholesterol.

Glutathione (GSH), another natural antioxidant, can be important for blood pressure and glucose homeostasis as essential hypertension and mild diabetes even after the participation of free radicals. In humans, Glutathione is found in all tissues and protect against possible damage from dirt and toxins, and can effectively prevent accelerated aging. Inefficient detoxification of the liver can lead to an excessive production of free radicals and tissue damage. Glutathione improves liver detoxification by binding to toxins and neutralize its harmful effects. Glutathione may be useful in the treatment of liver disease, and many toxic and infectious conditions.

Carrots contain calcium, potassium, vitamin B and C, calcium helps to vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels that result from contracts the muscular wall of the vessels). Potassium promotes a regular heartbeat. Vitamin B improves metabolism. Vitamin C protects cells against free radicals and increases the walls of blood vessels.

In addition, vitamin A is in the core material in the view; Vitamin A deficiency inhibits reform rhodopsin and lead to night blindness. It also improves the blood pressure and cough. Enough daily sun exposure only helps vitamin A effect.
